with the last couple days of rain, and having a nasty cold I have been doing a lot of thinking lately. And my creative juices were really flowing. I was reading a lot of different blogs and doing some Internet surfing. I decided that even with the winter being a rather ‘slow’ season for client shoots I really wanted to be pushing my photography skills daily/weekly! It is easy when life get’s really busy to stop, and remember to enjoy – photography is a lot more than ‘work’ to me – it is a passion.
So with the slow season I thought ‘what a better time then now to take some photos, to just take photos’. I saw a lot of different ‘daily photo challenges’ , and thought that might be a good idea… but then as I searched more I somehow got on a blog about planning parties and was reading about scavenger hunts (how much fun were these as children!) , and that’s when it came to me! A lot of these daily photo challenges were ‘restricting’ because sometimes I can’t take a photo everyday (I know, the goal is to try too!) but I didn’t want to miss a day and get bummed out and then quit the whole thing all together. So I came up with a shutterbug themed scavenger hunt! I searched for some scavenger hunt items, and then just compiled a list of random items that I will have to creatively shoot!
The challenge is going to be to get all of the items on this list
scratched out or “finished” by the end of 2012!
